Recalling a valiant and honorable life walking in God's path, George Hazelwood was born in the holler of Clinch Mountain in the township of Bean Station, Tennessee. He was a resident of Bean Station, and attended Grainger County school district as a youth. George served in the United States Army through the Korean War and was a personal bodyguard to Marilyn Monroe; he had ranked a Private First Class, and Served from February 27, 1953 to February 26, 1955 in his tour of duty.

Jim says they had about 21 bikes in the funeral procession of about 15 miles from West Side Chapel in Morristown to the cemetery.
It was a very well-done ceremony with
Lots of Amvets, Christian Motorcycle Association as well as Patriot Guard members.
TN3 Member Jim Warner was the lone Rolling Thunder vest.
