!!!!
Call to Action !!!!
After
almost 2 years of waiting we finally |
Jeff
spoke with a representative of the home named Erica at length and
the
residents live on a very small budget about 40.00 a month and he has
listed below the suggested donations we can bring.
We
picked this date hoping the weather will be better suited
for
the residents to come out and look and mingle around with us.
All
donations will be given to the administration and used on a as
needed basis
Socks/
undergarments
Gift
cards from Walmart/Target
in
10.00 to 20.00 increments
Some
phone cards are needed but
most
residents are local so this is not a big issue
We're
told that the big thing the residents like most are movies
and
she said most theaters are willing to give out passs to groups
of thirty in such cases
Our intentions are to speek to some of the theaters in the area and see what we can come up with
|
We
will be meeting at
Please be
fueled and ready Kickstands Up at 12:30 p.m. for the Ben Atchley VA hospital. |
