On Sunday, we met and organized for the ride to the burial on Sunday @ 1:00 pm at the truck stop across the street from Knoxville Harley Davidson - West on Lovell Road.
Change of plans, kickstands up @ 12:50 pm sharp.
The family wished us to be at the funeral home earlier than planned if at all possible.  They would like as many of us as possible to be in the procession from the funeral home to the cemetary.
The procession from the funeral home to the cemetary will leave at 1:30 and the graveside service to be at 2pm.

Please make every effort to attend this action!!!

Homeless Veterans Stand Down

December 8th - 9th 2006

This is a Biggie Folks

Call to Action

We were invited to participate in the Knoxville Stand Down for the Homeless Veterans coming on Friday December 8th and Saturday December 9th.

Above is the volunteer form (two pages) in a jpg format. Page 1 is was for contact information and for selecting the area and time that you would like to help in. Page two was for your signature and covers the release and waiver of liability.

Look over the form and flyers and volunteer wherever possible.

This is where we actually helped our Veterans One on One.  Who, for whatever reason, have came upon hard times and can use a HAND UP....Not a Hand Out!

Several members as well as friends joined us for this worthwhile cause by filling out the forms and mailing / faxing them in before November 30th to the address or fax number on the form or to Clay Tumlin.

Also  copies were Emailed to Clay Tumlin advising him whether or not your planning on attending and what times you had allocated to be there.

During the past year our membership has grown and our members have worked hard to make Rolling Thunder TN3 a success.

A resounding 'THANK YOU' is in order.

Today we are planning a Christmas Party for our members
were we can sit back and enjoy dinner and camaraderie.
On December 10th at 6PM

Breakers Sports Bar and Grill has graciously invited us to have our party with them
in the Clinton Plaza Shopping Center, 5000 Clinton Highway.
The chapter will be providing a Cajun deep fried turkey and we are asking that everyone bring a covered dish to the party.
This is the time for the cooks in the chapter to shine and show off!!  Be thinking of what you would like to bring and give Donna Hanson a call @ 947-5706, "8-5 M-F" and let her know what your planning to bring.  We would hate to have a Turkey and 20 Chocolate Cakes!!!!
Also we are planning a gift exchange of a different kind.  We are asking that each man bring a wrapped gift for a man and each woman to bring a wrapped gift for a woman.  No names on the gifts. Price for the gifts is limited to no more than $20.00 and can be a gag or serious gift.  And most of all.....Don't tell anyone what you brought!!! I believe that you will have a great time with this gift exchange!

Please Give Clay a call or send him an email (MrBreez@comcast.net) and advise him of your plans so he can have a handle on who's coming or who isn't as well as Send an Email or Call Donna (HarleyBunnytn@aol.com) to advise her as to what food type your planing on bringing ASAP
